Tying Big Streamers - Scott's Bonker

Your going to love this streamer. It casts well enabling you to hit the pockets in the log jams and the undercuts etc where those monsters hide. It has my favorite trigger colors of yellow, tan and red. The action imparted by the materials makes this fly a great one to dead drift through moving water as well as   strip and twitch or just down and across.

I'm tying these streamers to be used in Chilean Patagonia next week then on the Upper Delaware when I get back.  Ya, I know what you're thinking why fish streamers on one of the best dry fly fisheries in the country?  Well, to catch those monsters of the deep that don't show themselves during our spectacular hatches. Yes we get a lot of fish that are 18 to 20 inches, but the big boys are in hiding and will slam a streamer if it gets near them. See the article http://rsmflyfishingreports.blogspot.com/2013/01/fishing-streamers-on-delaware.html

West Branch Resort has first class accommodations and is right on the river in the scenic Catskills. Give us a call or visit the web site for more information. Tie some of these up and come and see us at www.westbranchresort.com.

Check back often as I will be posting more videos on Tying Big Streamers.

Good fishing everyone,
Scott McClintock
